Policy
Return/Exchange Policy:
Return period allowed - If the
package uses a tracking number (within a period of 14 days, after
the confirmed delivery date from the courier). If the package does not use a
tracking number (within 20 days after the ship date on your invoice).
Defective item - All defective
items may be exchanged for the same items only.
Shipping fee - Once the order is
submitted by the customer and the
- order is shipped
- or if the courier
attempted delivery of the package, and if the package was not claimed and
returned to the sender by the courier
- or if you submitted an incorrect ship
to address, and the package is returned to the sender
- or if you have a backorder that you wish to cancel (the customer is
responsible for requesting the cancellation and to make sure that you
receive a confirmed cancellation from us, either via phone of email). If we do not receive a
request from you for cancellation, once the backorder item(s) are in
stock, we will then proceed with the processing and shipping of the
order, without prior notification from us
This applies to all of the above: If you wish to reship
the package, a new shipping charge will apply. If you do not wish to
reship or wish to return/refuse delivery of any items, a 10% restocking fee will apply, the shipping fee is
not refundable.
Refund and exchange - Non-defective merchandise
can to be returned for a refund or exchange (a new shipping
charge will apply for any exchanges). Any amount that we have to credit to your
credit card, will be subject to a 10% restocking fee.
What is not returnable - All item descriptions within the "View Cart"
page that starts with "(nr)", cannot be returned once packaging has been
opened or used. Other descriptions such as "Special Order", "Drop Ship",
"Open Box" & "Clearance" are not returnable, with the exception of
manufacturer's defect, those items may be exchanged for the same items
only. Software is not returnable, once the order has been submitted and
processed.
Free shipping -
If you have placed an order during the time when we are offering free
shipping, and you decide to return the item, the actual shipping fee that
we had to pay for, will be deducted from your total purchase price, prior to
crediting your account.
How to Return or Exchange items:
Return authorization number -
Prior to returning any items, YOU MUST call customer service at
415-334-3900 or email us to obtain an RA number. If via email, make sure to
include your full billing name and invoice or order number.
When must the return items be shipped out by
- Return items must be
shipped out to us within 7 days (going by post mark date) after the RA# has been
issued.
How to ship items back - All merchandise
purchased from BugEye Digital is sold in its original factory packaging
with all contents as supplied to us by the manufacturer. Items can be
returned ONLY if in its original packaging, in the same new condition as
it was originally sold, along with
literature/instructions and any blank warranty cards (NO EXCEPTION). Place the manufacturer's
box into a shipping box. Please DO NOT put any stickers or marking on the
original manufacturer's packaging. Write the RA number on the outside of
the shipping box, above your address. Please ship the items back to us
prepaid. For your protection, make sure to insure the package. BugEye
Digital is not liable for lost or damaged packages.
What returns are not acceptable -
Any items returned to us missing any of its original content, damaged, has
stickers or markings on its packaging or content, will not be accepted and
will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense, by us charging
the customer's credit card for the shipping & handling cost, or if we do
accept the return, we will charge a 25% restocking fee.
