Slide Copier Duplicator

You can now transfer all your photographic slides to your digital still, 35mm SLR or video camera with ease.

This Digital Slide Duplicator Copier has a 52mm mounting thread. It can be connected to all digital, 35mm SLR lenses and video camcorder cameras, (most cameras will require a lens adapter tube and/or step up or step down adapter ring). You can virtually use any light source to illuminate the slides for copying (e.g. sun, incandescent, fluorescent, etc.). You can also remove the built in +10 close-up optic on the back of the unit by unscrewing it, to be used for other close up photography work.

NOTES FOR BETTER COPYING:

• The best results are obtained with well exposed, low to medium contrast slides.
• The soft white diffuser (cannot be seen from the picture above) at the front of the Digital Duplicator helps to provide even illumination.
• Filter effects can be added by placing suitable filters between the camera and the duplicator.
• Create more drama in video presentations by using the camera's zoom lens to home-in on the centre of a slide and so creating a sense of motion.
• If you wish to add sound to your photo presentation, follow the manufacturers instructions for use of the Audio Dub feature that your camera may have.
• When copying with an SLR camera, use an 80mm ~120mm zoom lens and set the diaphragm at F11 or smaller for sharper pictures.
• Do not set your camera to close up mode.
